A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I am a Sunshine Coast wedding and portrait photographer, with a love for authentic connections, give me all the realness all the time, every day!
I am beyond grateful to be able to call the Sunshine Coast home and to have so many iconic locations to choose from such as Maleny, The Hinterland, Coolum, Noosa, Caloundra, Maroochydore, Cotton Tree, Point Cartwright, Mooloolaba, and Alex Headland.
Hey there, I’m Tara!
I was reminded recently how important it is to show up and to share a little something with you—so here I am!
I bet life is busy right now and you have thought about getting family photos on and off for months, well I am glad you stopped by.
Best tip I have for you.....just book in the date, once it's on the calendar, we make the time. Trust me.
What to expect when working with me? When I photograph, I lean into connection over perfection, we achieve this through play, prompts, chatting and bringing out your personalities.
My hope is that in 10 years, you’ll look back at these photos and feel something—memories of tiny hands, belly laughs, and the love you shared. As a mum of a 13-year-old (how did that happen?!), I can’t tell you how much I miss the cheeky 4-year-old version of her. Don’t get me wrong, I adore this phase too, but I’m endlessly grateful for the photos and videos that bring her younger years back to life.
It’s true what they say: they grow up so fast. And isn’t it wild to love someone so much that words could never quite capture it? Just some thoughts from me to you. xx

You are busy, let's make this process as easy as possible.
1. BOOKING IN:
Get in touch with the form above, I will send you a portrait guide, choose a day, pay the booking fee and fill in a booking form to make your photos go super smooth....then we are ready to go!
2. HOLD UP, WHAT DO WE WEAR?
Best idea, have mum choose an outfit she loves and then have everyone else choose colours that compliment it. Stay away from logos and bold prints. (someone wearing a small print looks great)
I am here to help you in the planning.
3. BEFORE YOUR SESSION:
Make sure everything is all ready and ironed the day before to avoid stress on the day.
I encourage an early dinner before your photos– full bellies = content kids.
4. PHOTO DAY!
LET THE FUN BEGIN! We usually get all the "must get shots" in the first 10-15 min and then the session turns very play based...child lead.
Avoid getting children in trouble, use distractions instead, try and make them laugh. It’s ALL about connection- touching, smiles and interaction.
5. AFTER YOUR PHOTOS:
Within 1-2 weeks after your session, your photos will be edited and ready to view on your online proof gallery where you will get to select your chosen photos.
Soon after, your photos will be ready to download, print and share with friends and family. YAY!
